Autumn Skincare - Our top 5 tips for maintaining healthy glowing skin

Autumn brings us all the cosy feels but the cooler, drier air of Autumn can take a toll on your skin so nourishment is key!

Here are our top 5 tips for keeping your skin hydrated and glowing during the cooler months.

1. Change up your cleanser

Switch from a gel or foaming cleanser to a gentle and nourishing oil cleanser.

This is to avoid stripping your skin of its natural oils.

 2. Change to a richer moisturiser

And don't forget to drink lots of water. 

4. Exfoliate 

If you find your skin becoming dry and flaky it may be time to gently exfoliate your skin. 

We don’t have an exfoliant for you at Hark & Zander as yet, as all good things take time! But try adding a touch of sand, salt or sugar to our HempLavish Body Oil or HempPurify Emulsifying Oil Cleanser (don’t use white sugar on the face, it’s a bit harsh) and gently rub around in circular motions.

5. Don't forget to keep applying sunscreen! 

Now that the weather is cooler and the sun doesn't feel so strong, it can be easy to forget to apply sunscreen but don't be fooled - you still need to protect your skin from those harmful UV rays.  

Myth: You don't have to wear sunscreen when it's cloudy. 

Fact: Clouds block as little as 20% of UV rays. Wear sunscreen everyday!
