This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit (the “Site”).

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Our websites may include Cookies from third-party service providers.  In some cases, that is because we have hired the third party to provide services on our behalf, such as website analytics.  For this purpose, Hark and Zander works with various third-parties like Instagram, Facebook and Google to see what actions you take on third party websites to deliver our personalised ads to you via third party websites.  We use demographics and Interest reporting features in Google Analytics to anonymously track users on our websites, collect information like which pages were visited and how long was spent there.  This information helps us to improve our websites to give you a better experience.

While using our services you may provide us with certain identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your email address (“Personal Information’). We collect this information for the purpose of providing the service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/enquiries, and improving our services.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.


When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about both Personal Information and Order Information. 

We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional material and other information that may be of interest to you. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.


Hark and Zander will only disclose your personal data to a third party if that disclosure is one of the purposes in connection with which your personal data was obtained. We may share your personal data with service providers who perform services on our behalf.  For example, we may hire other companies to handle the processing of payments made by you, to provide data storage, to host our websites, to assist in direct marketing, provide functionality through integrations, analyse your interests and preferences and to conduct audits, etc.  Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal data they need in order to provide their services to Hark and Zander.  They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information that we provide to them and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose outside the performance of the services. Hark and Zander maintain contracts with these third parties requiring their treatment (access, use, disclosure and security) of personal data to be consistent with our obligations under the law.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Our website includes social media features such as the Facebook like button, Instagram panel widget and/or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which pages you visit on our site, and how long for. If you're a member of a social media site, the interfaces may allow the social media site to connect your visits to this site with other personal information. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the third party providing it and to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not responsible for the actions of those third parties.
